Our consultation system was so cutting edge that REDKEN asked us to be involved in their "Loft Salon" project. We had been a REDKEN exclusive salon forever and this was a great offer for us as it was completely in-line with our vision. The concept salons featured a consultation "bar" where every clients (even the men who have haircuts every 2 weeks,) hair was assessed pre srevice, behind the bar is all of the colour and products that we would be using during the service everything was explained and the benefits discussed in detail and the timing, menu and pricing was very clear. For a long time we were the only salon in the Capital offering this point of difference service. Today working from home as I do mostly, I have taken this further and do not have a mirror in the salon space (unless absolutely required.) Talking and confiding to a stylist via "mirror" is a wierd kind of confessional, dont you agree?
